Emmen will be aiming to bounce back from a 4-0 loss to Ajax when they take on Groningen in the Eredivisie round DODATI. Emmen failed to spoil Ajax’s party at Johan Criujff Arena, but their displays in the second half of the season are surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Groningen. Anco Jansen played for the likes of Cambuur, SC Veendam, De Graafschap, Roda JC, and Boluspor as well before joining FC Emmen in 2017. Anco Jansen made his Eredivisie debut with FC Emmen in a 2-1 win over ADO Den Haag on August 12, 2018, with the winger finding the net after 42 minutes.
His main position is left winger, but he is used as both centre-forward and attacking midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right. Anco Jansen has yet to earn a call-up with the Netherlands national football team.
