A spot in the EURO 2020 semis will be at stake when Belgium and Italy go head to head at Allianz Arena on Friday evening. The Red Devils set up a meeting with Roberto Mancini’s troops by beating Portugal 1-0, but it has to be noted that Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. dominated the match. Since star players Kevin de Bruyne and Eden Hazard both suffered injuries in the triumph over Portugal, we are not tempted to put our money on Roberto Martinez’s charges.
Keep in mind, though, that the duo is rated doubtful for the quarter-final clash. The Italians, on the other hand, survived Austria thanks to goals by Chiesa and Pessina in the extra time. Giorgio Chiellini should be fit for Friday’s clash, while Alessandro Florenzi remains in the recovery room. Anyhow, away win should be considered as Italy have been producing excellent displays at the showpiece tournament.

Romelu Lukaku Bolingoli, born on 13th of ay 1993 is a Belgian player with roots form Congo. Lukaku played for several youth teams before he got picked up by RSC Anderlecht. After playing for only 2 seasons for Anderlecht Chelsea picked him up for around12 million euro.

With four World Cup titles and one European Championship trophy, Italy remain one of world’s most successful teams and they have also finished as runners up at major tournaments on four occasions. The Azzurri have become famous for their result oriented football over the years which is perfectly suited for World Cup and Euro finals, so it is now a surprise when they fail to reach the final stages.
After winning the second and third edition of the World Cup, Italy endured a difficult period until lifting their first European Championship title in 1968, while they also managed to show some improvement at the turn of the century. While winning the 2006 World Cup in Germany, the Azzurri reached Euro finals in 2000 and 2012, and they are still regarded as one of the leading sides in Europe.
