Dynamo Dresden play host to Ingolstadt at their Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion in the opening match of the new 2. Bundesliga campaign. Following three consecutive wins in pre-season, Dynamo Dresden were outplayed by Union Berlin in their last warm-up game. The newcomers aim to get back on course as soon as possible, and they are surely capable of beating Ingolstadt at home ground.
It has to be noted that the club chiefs did well to keep hold of top scorer Christoph Daferner in the summer transfer window. Die Schanzer, on the other hand, kicked off pre-season with a routine 4-0 win over lower-league side Eichstatt, with the team sharing the spoils with Greuther Furth in their last warm-up match. Ingolstadt, though, are not regarded as good travelers, which is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the newcomers.
