The Toros have been showings signs of improvement of late, with the team beating both LA Galaxy and Sporting Kansas City, while sharing the spoils with Seattle Sounders. Teenage attacker Ricardo Pepi, who has netted eight goals so far this season, will be the man to watch in the home team. All Che, Martinez, Redzic, and Zobeck are out of contention through injuries for the home team.
Austin, on the other hand, quickly bounced back from a 1-0 loss to Colorado Rapids, with the team beating Houston Dynamo 3-2. The newcomers regained a much-needed confidence, but given their anything but good away record in the Major League Soccer, home win should be considered. The American footballer has been playing for FC Dallas since 2012 and in 2016 he won both US Open Cup and Supporters’ Shield with the Toros. Matthew Hedges made his debut for USA national soccer team on February 8, 2015, coming as a substittute in the 72nd minute in a friendly against Panama.
2017 was the most successful year of his career as he won the CONCACAF Gold Cup with the Yenks. USA defeated Jamaica 2-1 in the title game, but Matt Hedges was not given an opportunity to play in the final. His preferred foot is right.
