All eyes will be on Ljudski vrt when Maribor and Hammarby go head to head in the second leg of the Conference League second qualifying round. Maribor need a big win in the return leg if they are to advance to round 3, but that is easier said than done. The Violets, though, defeated ten-man Domzale in their last league match, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Hammarby.
Midfielder Aleks Pihler will be the man to watch in the home team as he scored a brace in the triumph over Domzale at the weekend. The Allsvenskan outfit, on the other hand, proved their worth in the first leg, but we do not believe that they are capable of beating Maribor in Slovenia.
