A place in the Champions League playoffs will be at stake when Sheriff and Crvena zvezda face each other at Stadionul Sheriff on Tuesday evening. The Serbian champions failed to turn their dominance into victory in the first leg, but it has to be noted that important midfielder Guelor Kanga was sent off after 58 minutes. The Gabon international is banned for the second leg, while El Fardou Ben should replace Falco in the starting XI as the Italian winger failed to impress in the 1-1 draw with Sheriff.
Nenad Krsticic is widely expected to replace Guelor Kanga in the starting line-up. Sheriff were anything but impressive in the first leg, and given Crvena zvezda’s attacking potential, we believe that there is a big value in betting on Dejan Stankovic’s troops. Speaking of Partizan, the Crno-beli are considered Crvena Zvezda’s bitterest rivals and the two teams meet in the “Eternal derby” (Veciti derbi).
