The Posh quickly bounced back from a 3-0 loss at Luton, with the team beating Derby 2-1 in their first home game of the season. Both Burrows and Dembele are pushing for a start as the duo helped Peterborough make a come-back in the dying minutes of Saturday’s clash.
Both Jones and Taylor, on the other hand, are sidelined through injuries. The Bluebirds kicked off the new Championship campaign with a 1-1 draw with Barnsley, with the team beating Blackpool 2-0 on the road in their second game of the season. Even though all Tomlin, Vassell, Evans, and Davies have been struggling with injuries of late, we predict that the visitors are going to grab something from the midweek fixture.

Mark Beevers scored 7 goals in 117 appearances for the Lions, playing for the club until the 2016 transfer window. The English defender then moved to Bolton where he scored 11 goals in 121 appearances in the league.
In May 2019 Mark Beevers signed a three-year deal with Peterborough United. He made his League One debut with the Posh in a 3-1 loss to Fleetwood Town on August 3, 2019. His main position is centre-back, but he is used as a left-back as well. His preferred foot is left and he has a contract with Peterborough United which should expire on June 30, 2022.
