Juventus and Empoli go head to head at Allianz Stadium in a David-vs-Goliath clash on Matchday 2. Juve dropped a two-goal advantage in a 2-2 draw with Udinese, but they are widely expected to beat the newcomers in front of home fans. Cristiano Ronaldo, who had a goal disallowed for offside in the dying minutes of the season opener, returns to the starting XI, while USA international Weston McKennie returns from suspension.
Adrien Rabiot is sidelined with a muscle injury. Empoli, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-1 defeat to Lazio, and we do not believe that they are capable of claiming a major scalp on day 2 of the new Serie A campaign. Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in 2009 and he helped the Spanish giants with two Champions League trophies. In 2016 he won the European Championship trophy with Portugal. The Real Madrid ace has two Golden Ball awards (2013, 2014).
