Osasuna
After sharing the spoils with both Levante and Real Betis, Cadiz will be aiming to record their first win of the season when they face Osasuna at their Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla on Sunday evening. The Yellow Submarine have been performing above expectations at the start of the season, and they are certainly capable of matching Osasuna at home ground. All Jose Mari, Santiago Arzamendia, and Jon Ander Garrido are likely to miss the game through injuries.
Los Rojillos, on the other hand, are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence in Sunday’s clash, and seeing that there have been under 2.5 goals in each of Cadiz’s first two games of the season, a low-scoring affair is on the cards at Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla. All Jose Angel, Robert Ibanez, and Aridane Hernandez have been struggling with injuries, speaking of the away team.

Alvaro Gimenez is a product of Elche football school who plays for fellow La Liga side Cadiz as a forward. Alvaro played for several Spanish clubs in the past, including Elche, Valencia B, Torrellano, Mallorca, Alcorcon, Almeria, before joining Birmingham City in the 2019/20 season.
After scoring only three goals in 24 appearances for the Blues in the Championship, Alvaro Gimenez returned to Spain at the end of the season, signing a deal with La Liga newcomers Cadiz. The Spanish attacker made his debut with the “Yellow Submarine” on October 4, 2020 in a 1-1 draw with Granada. His main position is centre-forward, but he is used as both left and right winger as well.
Gimenez’s preferred foot is left, and his contract with Cadiz should expire on June 30, 2023. The Cadiz attacker has three caps with the Spain U17 team, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the senior team.

Osasuna are a Basque football team that plays in Spanish La Liga. Los Rojillos are based in Pamplona and and the club were founded in 1920. Estadio El Sadar has been the home of Osasuna since 1967 and the capacity of the stadium is 19,800.
The colour of Osasuna’s home kit is red, while the team’s shorts are navy blue. Los Rojillos dropped to the Segunda Division at the end of the 2013/2014 La Liga campaign, but they did not spend too many time in the Spanish second tier. The club returned to the elite division in 2016 after beating Girona in the play-offs.
Osasuna made it to the Spanish Copa del Rey final in 2005, but they eventually lost to Real Betis after extra time in the title game. The meaning of the word Osasuna is “health” in Basque and it is used in a sense of strength.
