Peterborough
Out-of-sorts Sheffield United will look to record their first win of the season when they take on Peterborough United at Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon. The Blades have been struggling to find their form at the start of the season, but this game could be the turning point for Slavisa Jokanovic’s charges.
Talented attacker Rhian Brewster, who scored for England U21 in a 2-0 win over Kosovo U21, is pushing for a start, whereas all Lys Mousset, Enda Stevens, and Jack O’Connell are sidelined with injuries. The Posh, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form, with the team losing to both Preston and WBA before the international break. Taking everything into account, the Blades will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways. Defender Mark Beevers should be the only absentee in the away team.
Highlighted Player (Jack Rodwell):
Once an exciting midfielder talent who left his boyhood club Everton for Manchester City in 2012, Jack Rodwell has been attracting plenty of criticism over the past couple of years due to the lack of playing time and refusal to leave the Etihad, despite being on the margins with Citizens.
Rodwell joined Everton’s academy when he was eight and soared through the ranks to emerge as one of the key players for the Merseyside club during his five-year stay with the Toffees. A talked-about £15 million move to City turned into a largely disappointing two-year stint with the Citizens, before Rodwell moved to Sunderland.
Having largely struggled to replicate his flying form from his time at Everton, Rodwell signed for the Championship club Blackburn Rovers in 2018 for the remainder of the season, in a bid to get his career back on track. Rodwell represented England through all youth ranks up to the senior side, for which he only managed three caps.

Founded in 1934, Peterborough United are a professional club that competes in the League One. The Posh play their home games at London Road Stadium, the venue with the capacity of 15,314. Peterborough’s home colour is blue, whilst the colour of their away kit is blue. The Posh have the third kit as well where yellow and black are the dominant colours.
Peterborough United’s biggest success came in the 1964/1965 when the club booked their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals. Chelsea, though, proved to be a big catch for the Posh, beating them 5-1 in London. It has to be noted that Peterborough United made it to the Football League Cup semis in the 1965/1966 season, with the team losing to WBA in the two-legged tie.
The likes of Cambridge United and Northampton Town are considered the club’s main rivals. The Posh have built a rivalry with Huddersfield Town, with fans seeing MK Dons as rivals as well.
