Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Buoyed by a 2-1 win over Stevenage, Sutton will be aiming to escape the relegation zone when they take on Hartlepool in a postponed League Two fixture. The newcomers did well to record their first win of the season at the weekend, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence. Full-back Joe Barden, who limped off with injury at the weekend, is unlikely to feature in Tuesday’s clash, with Joe Kizzi likely to step up.
Richard Bennett, who scored a brace in the triumph over Stevenage, will be the man to watch in the home team. The Pools, on the other hand, quickly bounced back from a 1-0 loss to Tranmere, with the team beating Bristol Rovers thanks to Jamie Sterry’s goal. However, we are tempted to put our money on Sutton this time out as the visitors will be without top scorer Tyler Burey in the midweek game. Gavan Holohan is a major doubt.
