Angers and Metz go head to head at Stade Raymond-Kopa on day 9 of the new Ligue 1 campaign. Angers failed to win the previous four league fixtures, but it seems as if they will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways. Midfielder Zinedine Ould Khaled should be the only absentee in the home team, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered.
Les Grenats, on the other hand, recorded their first win of the season at the weekend, with the team beating Brest 2-1 on the road. Metz, though, will have a much bigger fish to fry against the fifth-place side, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Angers’ party at Stade Raymond-Kopa. Important defender Boybakar Kouyate is banned for the visitors, while Tunisia international Dylan Bronn returns from suspension.

Angelo Fulgini is a French footballer who plays for Angers in Ligue as a midfielder. Fulgini played for the likes of AS de Saint-Paul-en-Foret, FC Vidauban, SC Douai and Valenciennes during his youth career and he continued playing for the Athenians at senior level.
After scoring eight goals in 80 appearances for Valenciennes from 2015 to 2017, he moved to Angers before the start of the 2017/2018 Ligue 1 campaign and he quickly established himself as a first-team regular at Stade Raymond-Kopa. Angelo Fulgini scored his first ever goal for les Scoistes on August 6, 2017 in a 2-2 draw with Bordeaux. Despite being born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, on August 20, 1996, the Angers midfielder represents France on the international stage.
Angelo Fulgini has 3 caps for the France U21 team, while making 15 appearances for the U19 team. His main position is central midfield, but he is uses as both right-back and right midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right.

Thanks to amalgamation of two amateur clubs Metz were founded in 1932 and soon they became a professional team. Les Grenats are one of the oldest professional teams in France, but they have yet to win the Ligue 1 trophy. Metz finished the 1997/1998 season in second place in the standings and it has to be noted that they were level on points with champions Lens (worse goal difference).
However, les Grenats won Coupe de France on two occasions (1983/1984, 1987/1988), with the team beating Monaco and Sochaux respectively in the title games. Emmanuel Adebayor is considered one of the most famous players who whore Metz jersey and you should know that the Togolese attacker scored 15 goals in 44 appearances in the league for the club.
