Kazakhstan and Bosnia go head to head at Astana Arena in the 2022 World Cup qualifier. Kazakhstan did well to hold Bosnia to a 2-2 draw in Zenica, but despite picking up one point from the match, the former Soviet republic remained in the ultimate position in Group D. The Kazakhs are eyeing their first win of the process, and seeing that they looked sharp up front in the September qualifiers, we predict that they will find the net in Saturday’s clash.
The bad news for the hosts is that attacker Vladislav Vassijev misses the match through suspension. The Balkan Dragons are eyeing their first win of the process as well. Since both sides will go for a victory in the Astana Arena clash, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. Partizan defender Sinisa Sanicanin has been tested positive for coronavirus, while both Miralem Pjanic and Rade Krunic are sidelined with injuries. Inter attacker Edin Dzeko is widely expected to lead the line for the visitors.

Born in Ekibastuz, Kazakhstan on March 19, 1990 Dmitri Andreievich Shomko is a defender who plays for Astana. Shomko is a product of his home-town club Ekibastuzets, but he started his senior career at Batyr Ekibastuz.
As expected, the 182-cm tall footballer returned to his boyhood club and it has to be noted that he made nine appearances in the league for Ekibastuzets. Dmitri Shomko then moved to Irtysh Pavlodar and he played for the Kazak club from 2009 to 2014. In 2011 he was sent on loan to Astana and three years later he signed a permanent deal with the Blue and Yellows. His main position is left-back, but he is used as a left midfielder as well.
Over the years Shomko has established himself as a first-team regular at Kazakhstan national football team and he made his debut for the Hawks on February 2, 2011 in a 1-1 draw with Belarus. Shomko came as a substitute for Nurgaliev in the 85th minute of the match. He has 17 caps for the U21 team as well.

Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team have been competiting on the international stage since the country declared independence in 1992. The former Yugoslavian republic did well to book their place at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals in Brazil, but the Balkan Dragons failed to impress at the showpiece tournament.
Bosnia were beaten by the likes of Argentina and Nigeria in the group stages of the competition, but they gave fans some cheer on June 25, 2014, with the team beating Iran 3-1 in their final group game. The Dragons welcome their rivals at Bilino Polje in Zenica and the capacity of the venue is 15.600. Bosnia play their home games in blue shirts and blue shorts, whilst the colour of their away kits is white.
Roma attacker Edin Dzeko, who used to play for the likes of Wolfsburg and Manchester City, is undisputedly the team’s most notable footballer. Serie A ace Miralem Pjanic is yet another player to mention as he has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world football.
