Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Saturday’s football game at Carrow Road pits together Norwich City and Brighton, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the 2021/2022 Premier League season. The Canaries’ main goal is to secure the survival, while the Seagulls are eyeing a place in European competitions. Norwich City made a slow start to the season, and seeing that they have yet to record a win in the process, we are not tempted to put our money on the newcomers.
A man to watch in the home team will be Teemu Pukki, who scored for Finland in a 2-1 loss to Ukraine, while key midfielder Todd Cantwell should return against Brighton. The Seagulls are undefeated in the previous four league fixtures, and given Norwich City’s shaky defence, we believe that punters from all around the globe can find value in betting on the away side. All Welbeck, Mwepu, Alzate, and Webster are likely to miss the game with injuries.
Highlighted Player (Grant Hanley):
Grant Hanley is Scottish footballer who plays for Norwich City as defender. Hanley was born in Dumfries, Scotland, on November 20, 1991 and he started his youth career at Queen of the South. After ending his spells with Crewe Alexandra and Rangers, the Scottish player joined English club Blackburn Rovers, where he started his senior career.
After scoring eight goals in 183 appearances for the Riversiders in league matches, he moved to fellow English club Newcastle United in July, 2016 for an undisclosed fee. Grant Hanley, though, made no more than 10 appearances for Newcastle United in the Championship before joining Norwich City. The 191-cm-tall defender made his full international debut for Scotland against Wales on in May, 2011.
He scored his first goal for the Scotland national football team in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Wales. His contract with Norwich City should expire on June 30, 2021.
Highlighted Team (Brighton):
Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club were formed in 1901. The Seagulls welcome their opponents at Falmer Stadium and the capacity of Brighton’s home ground is 30,750. The stadium was built in 2008 and it was opened in 2011. The venue is known for commercial purposes as American Express Community Stadium.
Brighton & Hove Albion compete in the Premier League and they play in blue and white stripes. The colour of Brighton’s away kit is green. The club made it to the FA Cup final in 1983, but English giants Manchester United proved to be a big catch for the Red Devils.
Brighton’s main rivals are Crystal Palace and the Seagulls have recorded 35 wins over the Eagles. Frank Stapleton, Martin Chivers, Joe Corrigan, Bobby Zamora, Mark Lawrenson, Bobby Smith, John Crumplin and Frank Worthington are notable footballers who played for Brighton in the past. The Albion is Preston’s yet another nickname.
