Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
All eyes will be on Deutsche Bank Park when Eintracht Frankfurt and Leipzig take on each other in the Bundesliga round 10. Die Adler have been performing below expectations in the 2021/2022 Bundesliga season, with the team recording no more than one triumph in the process. Eintracht Frankfurt aim to make amends for back-to-back losses to Hertha Berlin and Bochum, and they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in Saturday’s clash.
Even though all Kristijan Jakic, Goncalo Paciencia, Aymen Barkok, and Christopher Lenz remain in the recovery room, we predict that the hosts will find the net on Matchday 10. The Red Bulls, on the other hand, aim to build on a come-from-behind 4-1 win over Greuther Furth. Considering that Leipzig have been scoring goals for fun of late, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. All Laimer, Klostermann, Halstenberg, Brobbey, Olmo, and Saracchi are injured for the visitors.
Highlighted Player (Timothy Chandler):
Timothy Chandler is a professional footballer, who started his senior career at Eintracht Frankfurt reserve team. In 2010 he signed for Nurnberg and he made 17 appearances for the reserve team. After playing 95 league games for Nurnberg he returned to Eintracht Frankfurt on 3 June, 2014, signing a three-year contract with his former club.
Chandler was born in Frankfurt on 29 March, 1990, but seeing that his father is American, the defender decided to play for the USA national football team. Chandler made his USA debut on March, 2011, coming as a substitute in a 1-1 draw with Argentina.
The Freiburg defender made USA 2014 World Cup squad, but he did not play for the Yanks at the showpiece tournament in Brazil. It has to be noted that Chandler made 10 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2015/2016 Bundesliga campaign. His main position is right back, but he is capable of playing as a right midfielder and a right winger as well.
Highlighted Team (Leipzig):
Leipzig are a professional football club founded in 2009. Die Bullen (The Bulls) were unbeaten in the 2012/2013 Regionalliga Nordost and, as a result, they secured promotion to the 3. Liga. After finishing the 2013/2014 as 3rd. Liga campaign in second place in the standings, Leipzig were promoted to the 2. Bundesliga and they competed in the German second tier for two seasons.
Despite suffering a loss to Karlsruher on the last day of the 2015/2016 round in the 2. Bundesliga campaign, die Bullen secured promotion to the Bundesliga for the first time ever. Leipzig play their home games at Red Bull Arena (42,959) and it has to be noted that the stadium was opened in 1954.
Die Bullen wear white shirts and red shorts while their away kit is blue and yellow. Ralph Hasenhuttl was appointed as the team’s manager at the end of the 2015/2016 season and you should know that the likes of Ralf Rangnick, Achim Beierlorzer, Alexander Zorniger, Peter Pacult, Tomas Oral and Tino Vogel were in charge of the team in the past as well.
