Our prediction for this League 1 match:
After suffering a 2-0 loss to West Ham U21 in the EFL Trophy, Gillingham will look to return to winning ways when they take on Accrington on Matchday 16. Head coach Steve Evans rested key players in the EFL Trophy clash, but he is likely to field the best possible side against Accrington. You should bear in mind that the Gills are after their third home win of the season.
John Coleman’s troops, on the other hand, have been having their ups and downs of late, with the team losing to Cheltenham, beating Charlton, while sharing the spoils with Portsmouth. Accrington are only four points behind the League One playoffs berth, but beating Gillingham on the road is easier said than done. A close encounter is on the cards at Priestfield Stadium, and we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw.
