Born in Crewe, England on March 6, 1990, A-Jay Leitch-Smith is a professional footballer who plays for Morecambe as a forward. Leitch-Smith is a product of the Crewe Alexandra football academy, and it has to be noted that he made 103 appearances for the club’s first team.
After spending several seasons on loan at Halifax Town, Newcastle Town, IBV, and Curzon Ashton, the English footballer joined Yeovil Town on a permanent basis in the 2014/2015 season. A-Jay Leitch-smith played for the likes of Port Vale, Shrewsbury Town, and Dundee (loan) as well before moving to his current club Morecambe.
Leitch-Smith is a very intelligent and creative attacker with good technical abilities. His preferred foot is centre-forward, but he is used as both second striker and right winger as well.
