Lille
Volkswagen Arena will host a highly-anticipated Champions League game between Wolfsburg and Lille. The Wolves missed out on a place in the last 18 of the elite competition, but they are still eyeing a place in the Europa League knockout stages. Wolfsburg suffered a heavy 3-0 loss at Mainz at the weekend, but it is well know that they produce much better showings at home than on the travels. All Bialek, Mehmedi, and Schlager are likely to miss the game with injuries.
Les Dogues, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Rennes and Troyes. Considering that the visitors should be happy with one point from the match, we are tempted to put our money on draw. Both Ikone and Andre are back from suspension for the Ligue 1 outfit. A man to watch in the away side will be Canada international David.
Highlighted Player (Kevin Mbabu):
Born in Chene-Bougeries, Switzerland on April 19, 1995, Kevin Mbabu is a defender who plays for Young Boys. Mbabu started his youth career at Servette and he continued playing for les Grenats at senior level. However, it has to be noted that he made no more than one appearance for Servette in the league during the 2012/2013 season.
Kevin Mbabu then joined Premier League side Newcastle United and after spending two seasons on loan at Rangers and Young Boys, he signed a permanent deal with the Stade de Suisse outfit in 2017. His main position right back, but he is used as both centre and left back as well.
Mbabu is eligible to play for Switzerland, DR Congo and France due to his mixed descent, but he decided to represent the Rossocrociati at senior level. Mbabu made his Switzerland debut in September, 2018 in a 6-0 win over Iceland. His contract with Young Boys should expire in June, 2020.

Lille have been playing an important role in French football ever since they were founded in 1944. Les Dogues won their first domestic trophy in the 1945/1946 season.
Lille did well to win their second Ligue 1 title in 1954 and 57 years later they lifted their last domestic title. Les Douges finished the 2010/2011 season in top position in the standings, eight points clear of second-placed Olympique Marseille and it has to be noted that Lille attacker Moussa Sow won the Golden Boot (25 goals).
Lille are one of the two teams that managed to win three consecutive Coupe de France trophies (1946, 1947, 1948), but they have yet to clinch the Coupe de la Ligue title. Les Dogues faced PSG in the 2015/2016 Coupe de la Ligue trophy, but les Parisiens proved to be a big catch for Frederic Antonetti’s team in the title game.
Lille play their home matches at Stade Pierre-Mauroy and the capacity of the stadium is 50.186. The venue was opened in August, 2017 and the construction cost €282 million.
