Field Mill will host Saturday’s League Two game between Mansfield Town and Salford City, the two teams who are almost level on points ahead of Matchday 21. The Yellows have been in a fine form of late, with the team recording five wins in the previous six league fixtures, but they need to keep on making progress if they are to, at least, book their place in the playoffs.
Despite failing to find the net in a 1-0 win over Carlisle United, Jordan Bowery should continue to lead the line for the hosts. The Lions, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-0 win over Oldham Athletic. Salford City, though, are not regarded as good travelers, which is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the Yellows this time out.

Born in Nottingham, England, on July 2, 1991, Jordan Bowery is a professional footballer who plays for Mansfield Town. Bowery played for a number of English clubs, but we should mentioned the notable ones only.
The Mansfield No. 9 was a part of the likes of Aston Villa, Bradford City, Rotherham United, and Crewe Alexandra in the past. Jordan Bowery joined the Yellows in the summer of 2020, signing for the club on a free transfer. He made his Mansfield Town debut in the League two in a goalless draw with Tranmere Rovers on September 12, 2020.
Bowery scored his first goal for the Yellows in a 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient on September 19, 2020. Centre-forward is the position that suits him the most, but he is used as both left and right winger as well. His preferred foot is right. Jordan Bowery has never played for the England national team.

Founded during the Second World War (1940) as Salford Central, the League Two side play their home games at Moor Lane. The stadium, which was opened in 1978 and renovated in 2019, can hold up to 5,108 spectators. The Lions wear red jerseys and white shorts when playing in front of home fans, while white and black are the dominant colours of their away kit.
Salford City secured promotion to the League 2 at the end of the 2018/19 as they defeated Flyde 3-0 in the National League play-offs final. The match was played at Wembley Stadium, with Touray, Pergianni, and Dieseruvwe scoring for the Lions.
In the 1977/78 season Salford City won their first Manchester Premier Cup trophy, with the team repeating the success the following year. Bury are seen as the club’s main rivals, but their rivalry with the likes of Oldham and Rochdale is pretty big as well.
