All eyes will be on Vale Park when Port Vale and Salford City face each other on Boxing Day on Sunday afternoon. The Valiants suffered a 2-1 loss to Newport in their last league match, with the team dropping out of automatic promotion berth, but a win over Salford could see them regain their spot in top three. Port Vale were not in action at the weekend, meaning that tired legs shouldn’t prove to be a big problem for the home team.
The Lions, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Stevenage. Salford City are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but given their anything but good away record, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the Valiants. David Amoo is a professional football player who was born in Southwark, London, England on April 13, 1991. Amoo spent his youth career at the likes of Millwall and Liverpool, but nowadays he plays for League Two side Port Vale.
It has to be noted that the pacey winger played for the likes of Milton Keynes Dons (loan), Hull City (loan), Bury (loan), Preston, Tranmere Rovers, Carlisle United, Patrick Thistle, and Cambridge United as well before joining the Valiants in the summer of 2019. David Amoo made his League Two debut with Port Vale on August 3, 2019, in a 1-1 draw with Colchester United.
He scored his first goal for the Valiants in a 1-1 draw with Northampton Town seven days later. His primary position is a right winger, but he is often used as both left winger and second striker. David Amoo has dual citizenship (England/Nigeria).

Founded during the Second World War (1940) as Salford Central, the League Two side play their home games at Moor Lane. Salford City secured promotion to the League 2 at the end of the 2018/19 as they defeated Flyde 3-0 in the National League play-offs final. The match was played at Wembley Stadium, with Touray, Pergianni, and Dieseruvwe scoring for the Lions.
