There will be fireworks when Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday square off against each other at Stadium of Light on Matchday 25. The Black Cats aim to build on a triumph over Doncaster, and a triumph over Wednesday will see them stay in automatic promotion berth. Even though all Aiden McGeady, Jordan Willis, Denver Hume, Luke O’Nien, Nathan Broadhead, and Niall Huggins continue to miss out with injuries, home win should be considered.
The Owls, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-0 win over Crewe. Sheffield Wednesday are eager to climb to the playoffs berth, but given Sunderland’s form in December, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing something from the match. Corry Evans established himself as a first-team regular at Hull City, but in 2013 he moved to Blackburn Rovers. He has been playing for the Riversiders ever since, wearing No. 29 jersey.
Evans’ main position is central midfield, but he is often used as both defensive and a right midfielder. Corry Evans was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on July 30, 1990. He made his debut for the Northern Ireland national team in June, 2009 against Italy.
