Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Stevenage and Sutton square off against each other at Broadhall Way in what is expected to be a close League Two encounter. The Boro aim to build on a 3-1 win over Walsall, and a triumph over Sutton should see them escape the danger zone. Experienced midfielder Michael Bostwick is unlikely to feature in Saturday’s clash after limping off with injury in the last league fixture. Sutton, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Harrogate and Exeter.
The visitors are eager to climb to automatic promotion berth, and seeing that they defeated Stevenage 2-1 in the first half of the season, away win should be considered. Matt Gray should stick to the 4-4-2 formation with Bugiel and Wilson up front. When the two sides met in the EFL Trophy last 32 in November 2021 Sutton eliminated Stevenage on penalties.
Highlighted Player (Jake Taylor):
Jake Taylor is a product of the Reading football academy who plays for Exeter City in the League Two. Taylor spent his youth career at Reading, and he continued wearing the blue and white shirt at senior level.
After scoring two goals in 31 appearances with the Royals in the league, the English footballer spent several seasons on loan at the likes of Aldershot Town, Exeter City, Cheltenham Town, Crawley Town, Leyton Orient, and Motherwell. In 2016 Jake Taylor returned to Exeter City, signing a permanent deal with the St James Park outfit.
Despite being born in Ascot, England, on December 1, 1991, Taylor represents Wales on the international stage. He has ten caps with the Wales U21 team, and he made his debut with the Dragons at the senior level in a 2-1 win over Cyprus on October 13, 2014. His primary position is central midfielder.
