Our prediction for this FA Cup match:
Southampton play host to Coventry City at St. Mary’s Stadium in the FA Cup round 4. The Saints head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Manchester City, and they are surely capable of matching the Championship side in front of home fans. Important midfielder Djenepo is back from international duty, while goalkeeper Alex McCarthy remains in the recovery room. The Sky Blues, on the other hand, set up a meeting with Southampton by beating Derby County on home soil.
The Championship side, though, are not regarded as good travelers, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Southampton’s party at St. Mary’s Stadium. Coventry head coach Mark Robins should have a full squad to choose from. In their last meeting in a competitive match Southampton rolled over Coventry 4-0, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered.
Highlighted Player (Theo Walcott):
Theo James Walcott is an English football player with roots from Jamaica born on 16th of March 1989 in London. Walcott started his football career for AFC Newbury and after scoring over 100 goals in his first season Southampton signed the young Walcott. After 2 seasons playing for the Saints scoring 4 goals in 21games Arsenal transferred Walcott to London for approximately 12 million GBP where he signed a 1 million GBP per year contract by the age of 17.
Walcott is known for being a very fast right-winger but is able to play as a striker as well. Walcott can be used very effectively to set up a counter attack but is the type of offensive player that is very dependant on the rest of the team.
Despite his young age Walcott made his debut for the English national team in May 2006 and played for over 40 games in the national team already. One of Walcott’s biggest weaknesses are his height (only 173cm) and the fact he get’s injured very quickly. Walcott won the FA Cup in 2013/2014 and 2014/15 with Arsenal and the Community Shield in 2015. During the World Cup in 2014 Walcott was injured.

Aston Villa and Leicester City are considered the club’s main rivals, but they have rivalry with fellow West Midlands clubs Wallsall and Burton Albion as well. Coventry City have yet to win the Premier League trophy, but they did well to go all the way in the FA Cup in the 1986/1987 season, with the team beat Charlton Athletic in the two-legged final. They share stadium with Birmingham City, with both clubs playing their home games at St. Andrew’s Stadium.
Built in December, 1906, St. Andrew’s Stadium can hold up to 29,409 spectators. Dion Dublin is one of the most famous Coventry City players, with the legendary centre-forward scoring 61 goals in 145 appearances for the club in the league.
