Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Following a massive 4-0 loss to Forest Green, Tranmere will look to get back on course when they take on Crawley Town at their Prenton Park. The Super Whites are ten points behind the Green and White Army, and seeing that both Sutton and Newport are breathing down their neck, Tuesday’s clash is of big importance for the home side. Elliott Nevitt is widely expected to replace Charlie Jolley in the starting XI.
The Boro, on the other hand, have been in a fine form in 2022, with the team extending their unbeaten run to five games at the weekend. Considering that Stevenage impressed in a 3-0 win over Harrogate, we believe that they are capable of holding Tranmere to a draw at Prenton Park. A man to keep an eye on in the away side will be Luke Norris, who managed to find the net in each of the last four league games.
Highlighted Player (Liam Feeney ):
Liam Feeney is an English footballer who plays for Tranmere Rovers as a midfielder. Born in Hammersmith, England on January 21, 1987, Feeney started his senior career at Hayes, and after scoring eight goals in 46 appearances for the club, he moved to Salisbury City in 2007.
The experienced footballer for several other English clubs as well, and, no doubt, Blackburn Rovers, Bournemouth, and Bolton Wanderers are the most notable ones. Nowadays Liam Feeney plays for Tranmere Rovers in the League two on loan from Blackpool. His main position is right wing, but he is capable of producing fine displays as a left winger as well.
Feeney made his League Two debut with Tranmere in a 3-0 loss to Cheltenham Town on September 19, 2020. His preferred foot is right, and he has a contract with the Whites until May 2021. The experienced winger has a dual citizenship (England/Jamaica).
Highlighted Team (Stevenage):
Based in Hertfordshire, England, Stevenage Borough are a professional club that compete in the League Two. The Boro are well known for their red and white home hit, while dark blue is the dominant colour of their away kit. Stevenage play their home games at Broadhall Way, the stadium which can hold up to 6,722 spectators and they were founded in 1976.
The Boro have won FA Trophy on two occasions (2006/07, 2008/09), with the team clinching the Herts Senior Cup title in the 2008/09 season thanks to a 2-1 win over Cheshunt. Luton are considered one of the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks in matches between the two sides.
In 2015 fighting broke out between rival fans near to the end of the clash at the Lamex. It has to be noted that Stevenage Borough were founded in 1976 after the bankruptcy of Stevenage Athletic.
