Our prediction for this Championship match:
Following a heavy 4-0 loss to Cardiff City, Peterborough will look to get back on course in the Championship when they take on Preston at Weston Homes Stadium. The Posh have a chance to escape the relegation zone, and they are likely to leave their hearts on the field. Darren Ferguson should opt to make changes to the starting XI, with all Brown, Ward, and Clarke-Harris pushing for a start.
Midfielder Idris Kanu is back from international duty, while defender Dan Butler remains in the recovery room. Preston, on the other hand, aim to move closer to the playoffs berth, but seeing that the relegation-threatened hosts want this win more than the visitors, we are tempted to put our money on Darren Ferguson’s charges. All Joshua Murphy, Connor Wickham, and Isaiah Brown miss out with injuries for the visiting side.
Highlighted Player (David Cornell):

Born in Waunarlwydd, Wales on March 28, 1991, David Cornell is a goalkeeper who plays for Northampton Town in the League Two. The 180-cm tall shot-stopper is a product of the Swansea City football school, but he did not make any appearances for the Swans at senior level.
Cornell played for the likes of Port Talbot Town, Hereford United, St. Mirren, and Portsmouth on loan before signing a permanent contract with Oldham Athletic in the 2015/2016 season. In the summer of 2016, he joined Northampton Town on a two-year deal.
Speaking of his international career, David Cornell has three caps with the Wales U21 team, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the senior team. The Northampton Town goalkeeper wears the number 1 jersey, and his preferred foot is right. He has a contract with the Cobblers until June 30, 2020.
Highlighted Team (Preston):

Preston North End or Preston were founded in 1880. The Lilywhites or the Invincibles play their home games at Deepdale, the stadium that was built in 1875 and opened three years later.
In 1889 Preston won their first FA Cup trophy and they did well to beat Huddersfield Town in the final of the 1938 FA Cup final. However, the club’s biggest success came in 1889 and 1890 when they won back-to-back domestic trophies (First Division).
Preston have yet to win the League Cup title, but they were runners-up in 1888, 1922, 1937, 1954, 1964. Preston’s main rivals are Blackpool and the two teams square off against each other in the West Lancashire derby. In their first ever meeting in the West Lancashire derby (1901) Preston recorded a 4-1 win over Blackpool.
Burnley and Blackburn Rovers are considered Preston’s big rivals as well. The colour of Preston’s shirts is white and they wear dark blue shorts.
