Strasbourg
After shocking Monaco at Stade Louis II, Reims will be looking to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they face Strasbourg on Matchday 28. Reims are on the right track to secure yet another Ligue 1 survival, but they can’t afford any complacency in the remainder of the season. Nathanel Mbuku is pushing for a start after scoring as a substitute in the last league match, while captain Yunis Abdelhamid is back from suspension.
Le Racing, on the other hand, aim to move closer to the Champions League berth. Strasbourg have been producing fine displays on the road this season, and we predict that they are going to grab something from Sunday’s clash. Midfielder Dimitri Lienard returns from suspension, whilst all Waris, Kawashima, Doukoure, and Le Marchand are likely to miss the game with injuries.

A Malian midfielder Moussa Doumbia has been with Russian side FK Rostov since 2014. The 22-year-old powerful midfielder started his career with Real Bamako in 2012. Doumbia spent two years playing for the Scorpions in the Malien Premiere Division, the top rank in the country. Russian side recognised his talent and made a transfer in 2014 tying Moussa Doumbia on a four-year deal.
During two seasons with Russian Premier League outfit, Doumbia was involved in 31 league matches. In 2015-16 season he contributed to his club’s runners-up finish with two goals of his own. Full-time Mali international made his national team debut in 2014 in a 3-1 victory over China in Shenzen.
His most recent international appearances occurred in September during an empathic 5-2 win over Benin in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations. Doumbia went on to score his team’s fifth goal with eleven minutes on the clock rounding off an impressive performance.

Founded back in 1906, Strasbourg is a professional football team that compete in French Ligue 1. Le Racing did remarkably well to win the 1979 Ligue 1 trophy and that is considered the biggest success in the history of the club. Strasbourg won Coupe de France on three occasions (1951, 1966, 2001) and they have three Coupe de la Ligue trophies as well (1964, 1997, 2005). Strasbourg’s main rivals are Metz and the two teams face each other in the Derby de l’Est (The Eastern derby).
