Northampton are sitting in second place in the standings, ten points behind league leaders Forest Green, but they suffered a dip in form. The hosts are on a three-game winless run in the League Two, meaning that they will give 100% to pick up all three points from the derby.
Scotland attacker Louis Appere should continue to lead the line for Northampton in the 3-4-3 formation. The Super Whites, on the other hand, suffered three defeats in the previous four league fixtures, meaning that the lack of confidence could prove to be a big problem for the visiting side. Joseph Mills is an Aston Villa product who plays for Northampton Town in the League One. Mills moved to Southampton in 2006, and he continued playing for the Saints at senior level. After ending his loan spells with Scunthorpe United and Doncaster Rovers, the pacey left-back joined Reading in 2011, but he made no more than 15 appearances for the Royals in the league.
After his short spell with Burnley, Joseph Mills moved to Oldham Athletic, and it has to be noted that he played for the likes of Perth Glory, Shrewsbury Town, and Forest Green Rovers as well before moving to Northampton Town.
Mills was born in Swindon, England on October 30, 1989, and he wears the No. 23 shirt with the Cobblers. His primary position is left-back, but coaches use him as a left midfielder as well. He has a contract with Northampton Town which should expire in June 2022.

Based in Birkenhead, Merseyside, Tranmere Rovers are a professional club that compete in the League One. Tranmere were founded back in 1884 under the name of Belmont FC, with the football arms of cricket clubs Lyndhurst Wanderers and Belmont coming together. The club recorded their first win later in 1884 as they outclassed Brunswick Rovers 4-0.
Nowadays Tranmere Rovers play their home games at Prenton Park, the venue which can hold up to 15,567 people. The Rovers wear white shirts and blue shorts in home matches, but back in the 19th century orange and red were the dominating colours on their kit.
Tranmere fans see Bolton Wanderers as the club’s main rivals, but they have built a small rivalry with Chester City and Everton as well. The Prenton Park outfit did well to make it to the League Cup final in the 1993/1994 season, but Aston Villa proved to be a big catch for them in the title game.
