Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Mansfield Town will look to keep their playoffs hopes alive when they take on Stevenage in the League Two round 38. The Yellows aim to make amends for back-to-back losses to Tranmere (2-3) and Port Vale (1-3), and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the Boro. O’Toole could replace Clark in the starting XI, while both Gordon and Nartey remain in the recovery room.
Stevenage, on the other hand, are fighting hard to avoid relegation, with the team sitting in 22th place, just three points clear of bottom two. Since the Boro collected only one point in total from the previous five league fixtures, we predict that Mansfield are going to emerge triumphant in Saturday’s clash. Luke Norris, who limped off with injury in a 2-1 loss to Northampton, is unlikely to feature against Stevenage.
Highlighted Player (Jordan Bowery):
Born in Nottingham, England, on July 2, 1991, Jordan Bowery is a professional footballer who plays for Mansfield Town. Bowery played for a number of English clubs, but we should mentioned the notable ones only.
The Mansfield No. 9 was a part of the likes of Aston Villa, Bradford City, Rotherham United, and Crewe Alexandra in the past. Jordan Bowery joined the Yellows in the summer of 2020, signing for the club on a free transfer. He made his Mansfield Town debut in the League two in a goalless draw with Tranmere Rovers on September 12, 2020.
Bowery scored his first goal for the Yellows in a 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient on September 19, 2020. Centre-forward is the position that suits him the most, but he is used as both left and right winger as well. His preferred foot is right. Jordan Bowery has never played for the England national team.
Highlighted Team (Stevenage):
Based in Hertfordshire, England, Stevenage Borough are a professional club that compete in the League Two. The Boro are well known for their red and white home hit, while dark blue is the dominant colour of their away kit. Stevenage play their home games at Broadhall Way, the stadium which can hold up to 6,722 spectators and they were founded in 1976.
The Boro have won FA Trophy on two occasions (2006/07, 2008/09), with the team clinching the Herts Senior Cup title in the 2008/09 season thanks to a 2-1 win over Cheshunt. Luton are considered one of the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks in matches between the two sides.
In 2015 fighting broke out between rival fans near to the end of the clash at the Lamex. It has to be noted that Stevenage Borough were founded in 1976 after the bankruptcy of Stevenage Athletic.
