Ross County
Pittodrie Stadium will host Saturday’s Premiership games between Aberdeen and Ross County, the two teams who are eyeing a top-six finish. Aberdeen head into the match following a 2-2 draw with Dundee, and a win over Ross County should see them climb to the Championship Group berth. All Matthew Kennedy, Adam Montgomery, and Michael Devlin should miss out with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
The Staggies, on the other hand, are one point behind top six, and seeing that they will go for a win as well, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. In their last meeting in the Scotland Premier League the two sides played out a 1-1 draw, and we predict that the history is going to repeat itself. Funso Ojo is a Belgium international who plays for Aberdeen as a midfielder. Ojo was born in Antwerp on August 28, 1991, starting his youth career at Olse Merksem. In 2004 he was spotted by PSV scouts, moving to Eindhoven very soon.
Funso Ojo made 11 appearances for PSV in the Dutch Eredivisie before moving to Beerschot AC, yet another club from his youth career. The Belgium international played for the likes of Royal Antwerp, Dordrecht, Willem II, and Scunthorpe United before signing a deal with Aberdeen in 2019. Funso Ojo made his Scotland Premiership debut in a 3-2 win over Hearts.
Speaking of his international career, Ojo has one cap with the Belgium U21 team, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the Belgium senior team. His primary position is central midfield, but he is capable of producing fine displays as a defensive midfielder. As his parents are of Nigeria descent, the Aberdeen footballer has a dual citizenship.

Founded back in 1929, Ross County are professional football club that compete in the Scotland Premier League. The Staggies welcome their rivals at Victoria Park, the stadium which can accommodate up to 6,541 (all-seated) people. Ross County have a bitter rivalry with fellow Highlanders Inverness Caledonian, with the two teams facing each other in Highland derby.
The Staggies recorded their biggest win against St Cuthbert Wanderers (11-0) in the 1993/94 Scottish Cup round 1, whereas their biggest loss came in the third round of the 1961/62 Scottish Cup campaign, with the team suffered a 7-0 defeat to Kilmarnock. Michael Gardyne, who scored 71 goals in 392 appearances for Ross County, is leading the club’s all-time goal-scoring chart.
Ross County have never won the Scottish Premier League trophy, but they did well to make it to the Scottish Cup final in the 2009/10 season. The Staggies were beaten by Dundee United (0-3) in the title game at Hampden Park, Glasgow.
