Peterborough
Oakwell will host Monday’s football game between Barnsley and Peterborough, the two rock-bottom sides. Barnsley are ten points behind the safe zone, but keep in mind that they have one game in hand. The Tykes have no other choice but to go all guns blazing at Peterborough, and, one thing is for sure, they will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways.
All Aapo Haime, Michal Helik, and Bradley Collins should miss out with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team. The Posh, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers. Peterborough United are eager to keep their survival hopes alive, but given their poor away record in the Championship, we are tempted to put our money on the home team this time out. All Butler, Norburn, and Benda are injured for the visiting side.

Born in Waunarlwydd, Wales on March 28, 1991, David Cornell is a goalkeeper who plays for Northampton Town in the League Two. The 180-cm tall shot-stopper is a product of the Swansea City football school, but he did not make any appearances for the Swans at senior level.
Cornell played for the likes of Port Talbot Town, Hereford United, St. Mirren, and Portsmouth on loan before signing a permanent contract with Oldham Athletic in the 2015/2016 season. In the summer of 2016, he joined Northampton Town on a two-year deal.
Speaking of his international career, David Cornell has three caps with the Wales U21 team, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the senior team. The Northampton Town goalkeeper wears the number 1 jersey, and his preferred foot is right. He has a contract with the Cobblers until June 30, 2020.

Founded in 1934, Peterborough United are a professional club that competes in the League One. The Posh play their home games at London Road Stadium, the venue with the capacity of 15,314. Peterborough’s home colour is blue, whilst the colour of their away kit is blue. The Posh have the third kit as well where yellow and black are the dominant colours.
Peterborough United’s biggest success came in the 1964/1965 when the club booked their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals. Chelsea, though, proved to be a big catch for the Posh, beating them 5-1 in London. It has to be noted that Peterborough United made it to the Football League Cup semis in the 1965/1966 season, with the team losing to WBA in the two-legged tie.
The likes of Cambridge United and Northampton Town are considered the club’s main rivals. The Posh have built a rivalry with Huddersfield Town, with fans seeing MK Dons as rivals as well.
