Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Dundee United and Hearts square off against each other at Tannadice Park in what is expected to be an interesting Premiership game. The Terrors aim to stay in top four, and we are positive that they will fight tooth and nail against the Jambos. Both Ian Harkes and Peter Pawlett have been struggling with injuries of late, while there are no suspended players in the home team.
Hearts, on the other hand, did well to beat Hibernian 3-1 in their last league match. The Jambos have little to play for in the season finale as they are stuck in third place, and that is the main reason why home win should be considered. The likes of John Souttar, Beni Baningime, and Michael Smith are all out of contention through injuries for the visiting team.
Highlighted Player (Scott McMann):
Born on July 9, 1996, Scott McMann is a Scottish footballer who plays for Hamilton Academical as a defender. His primary position is a centre-back, but he is used as both left and right back as well. Scott McMann is a product of the Hamilton Academical football academy, and he has been playing for the senior team since 2013.
In 2016 he made seven appearances in the league during his loan spell with Clyde. McMann, who represented both Scotland U16 and U17 teams in the past, wears the number 3 on his shirt. The right-footed defender made his Scotland Premier League debut with Hamilton in a 1-0 win over St Mirren on May 23, 2015.
The Scottish footballer scored his first goal for the club in a 3-1 win at Clyde in the League Cup on July 17, 2019. Scott McMann wears the number 3 jersey at Hamilton Academical.
Highlighted Team (Hearts):
Founded in 1874, Hearts are professional football club that compete in the Scotland Premiership. The Jam Tarts welcome their rivals at Tynecastle Park Gorgie, the stadium which can hold up to 20,000 spectators.
While the original Hearts strip was all white shirts and trousers with maroon trimmings, the club’s current home kit is all maroon with a white-collar. Hearts have won the Scottish Premier League title four times (1894/95, 1896/97, 1957/58, 1959/60), but they have been in Celtic and Rangers’ shadows in the 21st century. Hibernian are considered the club’s fiercest rivals. The two teams first met back in 1875 on Christmas Day, with Hearts winning the match 1-0. The Tynecastle Park Gorgie recorded their biggest win in 1880, with the team rolling over Anchor 21-0 in the FA Cup.
The club’s heaviest defeat came eight years later as Hearts were beaten by Vale of Leven 8-1 in the Scottish Cup. John Robertson is leading the club’s all-time goal-scoring chart, with the left winger netting 214 goals for the club.
