Monday’s football game between Watford and Sheffield United will bring down the curtain on day 1 of the new Championship campaign. Both Watford and United are eyeing a return to the Premier League, but securing a top-two finish is easier said than done given the number of promotion-chasing sides.
The likes of Moussa Sissoko, Cucho Hernadnez, Joshua King, Andre Gray, Adam Masina, and Philip Zinckernagel have left the club, with the club chiefs adding the likes of Bayo, Manaj, and Hamer to the squad only. The Blades, on the other hand, were scoring goals for fun in pre-season, which is probably the main reason why we are going to put our money on the away side. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be veteran attacker Billy Sharp, who scored 14 goals in the Championship last term.

Joao Pedro played for Atletico Mineiro during his youth career and he made no less than 11 appearances for the club at senior level. The Brazilian footballer, who was born on 9 March, 1992 in Ipatinga, signed a deal with Palermo on 30 August, 2010 and he made his debut for the Sicilian outfit in the Serie A on 17 January, 2011.
He came as a substitute to replace Josip Ilicic in a 3-1 defeat to Cagliari. On 29 January, 2011 he joined Vitoria Guimaraes on loan and on 19 August he was loaned to Penarol of Uruguay. After ending his loan spell with the Uruguayan team, the Brazilian midfielder joined Santos and he played 10 games for the Brazilian team.
On 1 July he signed a contract with Estoril and he moved to Cagliari at the end of the season. Joao Pedro has 11 caps for Brazil U17 and he scored one goal for the national team.

Sheffield United are a professional football club that compete in the Championship. The Blades finished the 2016/2017 League One campaign in top position in the standings, with the team collecting exactly 100 points in the process. Sheffield United last competed in the Premier League in the 2006/2007 season and they were more than unfortunate not to secure the top flight survival.
The Blades finished the season in 18th place in the process and it has to be noted that they were level on points with Wigan Athletic, who managed to avoid the relegation to the English second tier. The club have numerous rivalries, but the most notable one is the rivalry with their city neighbors Sheffield Wednesday.
