Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
After defeating Konyaspor in their last warm-up game, Basaksehir will look to go off to a flying start in the Conference League qualifiers when they face Netanya on Thursday. Basaksehir finished the last Super Lig campaign in 4th place in the standings, and, no doubt, they want to go all the way in the new UEFA competition. The club chiefs did well to keep hold of key attacker Stefano Okaka in the summer transfer window, and we are positive that the former Watford man will make life difficult for the opposition defenders.
Netanya, on the other hand, did well to beat Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli Toto Cup, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in Thursday’s Conference League clash. Since Basaksheir are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing something from the first leg.
