After rolling over Reims 4-1 in their opener, Olympique Marseille will look to overcome PSG in top position when they face Brest at Stade Francis-Le Ble on Sunday. OM could not have wished for a better start to the season, but they need to keep on raising their form if they are to put an end to les Parisiens’ dominance in the French top flight.
A man to watch in the away team will be summer signing Luis Suarez, who should be recalled to the starting XI after scoring a brace at the weekend, while goalkeeper Pau Lopez remains in the treatment room. Brest, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-2 loss to Lens, which is yet another reason why away win should be considered. Speaking of the home side, midfielder Noah Fadiga is a major doubt after limping off with injury in the season opener, while both Jere Uronen and Steve Mounie continue to miss out with injuries.

Paul Lasne is a product of Bordeaux football academy, but he did not play for les Girondins at senior level. After ending his loan spell with Chateauroux Lasne signed a loan deal with Ajaccio in 2010 and he proved his worth in the 2010/2011 Ligue 2 campaign.
As a result, he was offered a permanent deal by the club chiefs and it has to be noted that he played for Corsican side from 2011 to 2014. After scoring four goals in 89 appearances in the league for Ajaccio, the 186-cm-tall midfielder joined Montpellier in the summer of 2014, signing a four-year contract with La Paillade.
Paul Lasne scored three goals for Montpellier, while providing two assists for his teammates in the 2016/2017 Ligue 1 campaign. Despite being left-footed, his main position is right midfield, but he is used as both central and defensive midfielder as well. The Montpellier footballer was born in Saint-Cloud, France on January 16, 1989 and his agent is Henri Zambelli.

Olympique de Marseille are considered one of the best French football clubs. Les Olympiens won their ninth Ligue 1 title in 2010, but winning of the 1992/1993 Champions League trophy is seen as the club’s biggest success. Marseille defeated Italian giants Milan in the title game, with Basile Boli scoring the winner (1-0) in the Olympiastadion showdown.
It has to be noted, though, that the Stade Velodrome outfit were banned from defending the title in the 1993/1994 season after being involved in a match-fixing scandal. To make things even worse for the fans, the club suffered enforced relegation to the Ligue 2.
