Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Alexandra Stadium will host Tuesday’s game between Crewe and Sutton, the two top-table sides. Crewe kicked off the new League Two season in style, with the team beating both Rochdale and Harrogate, but they suffered a 3-0 loss to Salford City at the weekend. The Railwaymen aim to get back on course as soon as possible, and they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach against Sutton.
Keep in mind, though, that forward Bassala Sambou is banned for the match. Matt Gray’s men, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Barrow, and they managed to get one thanks to Tope Fadahunsi’s goal. The 22-year-old forward is pushing for a start, while Omar Bugiel is a major doubt after limping off with injury in the last league fixture. Anyhow, a close encounter is on the cards at Alexandra Stadium as the two sides seem to be evenly matched at the moment.
