Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
Regensburg will look to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Hannover when they take on Karlsruher in the 2. Bundesliga round 5. Regensburg have yet to concede a goal in front of home fans this season, and they are likely to rely on their solid defence in Saturday’s clash. Midfielder Oscar Schonfelder is sidelined with a long-term ACL injury, while forward Sarpreet Singh faces race against clock to be fit for the Karlsruher game.
The visitors, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Sandhausen, and they managed to get one. Christian Eichner’s men have regained a much-needed confidence, which is probably the main reason why we predict they will grab something from the Jahnstadion Regensburg showdown. Switzerland international Simone Rapp is pushing for a start, while all Kyoung-Rok Choi, Florian Ballas, Daniel OShaughnessy, Christoph Kobald, and Felix Irorere are sidelined with injuries for the visiting side.
