Our prediction for this Europa League match:
A spot in the Europa League group stages will be at stake when AEK Larnaca and Dnipro square off against each other at AEK Arena. After shocking Partizan in the third qualifying round, AEK Larnaca proved their worth in a 2-1 win over Dnipro on a neutral location in Kosice. The Cypriotes have been impressive in the Europa League qualifiers this term, and it is no wonder the bookies see them as favourits to win Thursday’s clash.
There are no fresh injury worries in the home team ahead of the return leg. The Ukrainians, on the other hand, face an uphill task in the second leg as they need to overcome a one-goal deficit in Cyprus. Since AEK are a real force to be reckoned with at home, Dnipro are unlikely to make it to the Europa League group stages. Midfielder Eduard Sarapiy is banned for the visiting side.
