Apollon
Olympiakos play host to Apollon at their Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in the Europa League playoffs, first leg. The two teams played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg, but Olympiakos are seen as favourites to win Thursday’s clash. The Thrylos kicked off the new Greek Super League campaign in style, with the team beating Giannina 2-0 at home, and they must be high on spirits ahead of the visit of Apollon.
Experienced midfielder Mathieu Valbuena should keep his place in the starting XI after finding the net in the league triumph, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home side. The Cypriotes, on the other hand, have yet to kick off the new domestic campaign. Since Apollon are not regarded as good travellers, we believe that there is a big value in betting on Carlos Corberan’s charges.

Garry Rodriguez is a Cape Verde international who was born in Rotterdam on November 27, 1990. Rodrigues started his youth career at his hometown club Feyenoord and in 2007 he moved to Real SC. The pacey winger made his senior debut as a XerxesDZB player during the 2009/2010 season and after scoring two goals in 15 appearances in the league, he left the club in 2011.
The Cape Verde footballer played for the likes of Rostocker, Boshuizen, Den Haag, Dordrecht, Levski Sofia, Elche and PAOK before joining Galatasaray in 2017. Rodrigues quickly established himself as a first team regular at Gala and he played an important role in Fatih Terim’s team that won the Turkish Super Lig in the 2017/2018 season.
Speaking of his international career, Garry Rodrigues made his debut for Cape Verde national team in August, 2013 against Gabon. The Galatasaray winger represented Cape Verde at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.

Apollon are a Cypriot football club based in Limassol. The Kianolefki wear blue shirts and dark blue shorts when playing at home ground and they welcome their rivals at Tsirion Stadium. The venue can hold up to 13.331 spectators and it was opened in 1975.
Apollon Limassol won their first domestic trophy in the 1990/1991 season, with the team finishing the campaign three points clear of second-placed Anorthosis Famagusta. The Kianolefki won their second Cypriot First Division trophy three years later (1993/1994) and they had to wait 12 years before they clinched their third and last domestic title (2005/2006).
Speaking of the Cypriot cup, Apollon Limassol won their ninth trophy in the competition in 2017, with the team beating APOEL in the title game. The club was founded back in April 14, 1954 and it has to be noted that they suffered a loss in each of their eight games in their debut season in the second division.
