Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Osasuna play host to Estadio El Sadar on day 4 of the new La Liga campaign. Following back-to-back wins over Sevilla and Cadiz, Osasuna suffered a 1-0 loss to Real Betis in their last league fixture, but it has to be noted that they missed a couple of chances to find the net at Estadio Benito Villamarin. Forward Kike Saverio remains in the recovery room, but he should be the only absentee in the home team.
Los Vallecanos, on the other hand, have been having their ups and downs at the start of the season, with the team sharing the spoils with Barcelona, beating Espanyol, while losing to Mallorca. Since the capital club are likely to rely on their solid defence, a low-scoring affair is on the horizon. Both Diego Lopez and Andres Martin are sidelined with injuries for the away side.
Highlighted Player (Roberto Torres):
After scoring 23 goals in 132 appearances for Osasuna B, Roberto Torres made his first-team debut on 11 December 2011. He came as a substitute in a 1-1 draw with Malaga, but he played no more than two league games for los Rojillos in the 2011/2012 La Liga campaign. However, he was making progress year by year and he made 42 appearances for Osasuna in the 2015/2016 Segunda Division campaign.
Roberto Torres is one of the players who helped the team secure promotion to Primera Division and it has to be noted that the midfielder scored 12 goals in the 2015/2016 season.
Roberto Torres’ contract with Osasuna expires in 2018. The 178-cm-tall player was born in Pamplona, on 7 March, 1989. His main position is attacking midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a central midfielder as well. He scored his first goal in Primera Division in a 2-4 loss to Real Madrid in the 2012/2013 campaign.
