Sunday’s football game at Estadio Anxo Carro pits together Lugo and Real Oviedo, the two teams who are almost level on points in the Segunda Division table ahead of Matchday 7. Lugo aim to make amends for back-to-back losses to Alaves and Villarreal B, but they face yet another difficult task against Oviedo. Forward Christopher Ramos De la Flor is banned for the match, while Bruno Pires has joined Alex Perez in the recovery room. Fellow midfielder Jesus Fernandez is likely to replace Pires in the starting XI.

Manu Barreiro is a professional player who was born on 8 July, 1986 in Compostela, Spain. Barreiro is a product of Real Madrid youth school, but he played for Valencia during his youth career as well. He made three appearances for Valencia B, but in 2005 he joined Lalin.
He played for the likes of Algeciras, Cadiz, Jerez, Zamora, Cerceda, Pontevera and Ferrol in lower leagues as well and on 27 June 2014 he signed a contract with Segunda Division side Alaves. He scored 11 goals for the club in the 2014/2015 campaign and he netted five goals in 32 appearances for El Glorioso in the 2015/2016 Segunda Division campaign, helping the team secure promotion to La Liga.
Manu Barreiro won Segunda Division B with Cadiz in the 2008/2009 season. Manu Barreiro is a centre forward, but he is capable of playing as a left winger as well. His contract with Alaves expires on 30 June, 2017.

Based in Oviedo, Asturias, Real Oviedo is a Spanish club that plays home games at Carlos Tartiere. Carlos Tartiere is one of the biggest stadiums in Segunda division as it can hold up to 30,500 spectators. Los Azules competed in La Liga in the 1990s, but in the 2001/02 campaign they suffered relegation to Segunda Division.
Real Oviedo have not competed in the Spanish top flight ever since. In the 1991/92 season los Azules represented Spain in the UEFA Cup, but Genoa proved to be a big catch for them in the round of 64. Real Oviedo have a rivalry with Sporting Gijon, with the two teams facing each other in the Asturian derby.
