Kras Stadion will host Satruday’s Eredivisie fixture between FC Volendam and Ajax, the two teams who sit in the opposite parts of the table. The home side will be looking to put an end to their five-game winless run in the Dutch top flight, but they will have a mountain to climb in this round. All Francesco Antonucci, Josh Flint and Calvin Twigt are major doubts, whilst Bilal Ould-Chikh is banned for this match. Ajax, on the other hand, disappointed their fans in the last two games, as they were hammered by Napoli in Champions League (1-6), while dropping two points in a 1-1 draw with Go Ahead Eagles in national championship.
The reigning champions have a perfect opponent to return to winning ways as they defeated the hosts in seven of their last eight meetings. Anyhow, anything but a comfortable win for the visiting side will be a major surprise. Both Ahmetcan Kaplan and Jorge Sánchez miss out through injuries, while fit-again left-back Owen Wijndal could make his return from injury against Volendam.

Steven Bergwin is a product of ASC Waterwijk football school, but in 2009 he was spotted by Ajax scouts. In 2011 he moved to PSG and he continued playing for the club’s reserve team at senior level. He made his debut with the senior team on May 20, 2015 in a 2-0 win over Heracles.
Over the years the Dutch footballer born in Amsterdam on October 8, 1997, has established himself as a first-team regular at PSV, earning a call-up for the national team as well. Steven Bergwijn made his Netherlands debut on October 12, 2018 in a 3-0 win over Germany. His main position is left winger, but he is used as both right winger and centre-forward as well.
His preferred foot is right and it has to be noted that his parents are of Suriname descent, he has a dual citizenship. Bergwijn scored 14 goals in 33 appearances for PSV in the 2018/2019 Eredivisie season.

Ajax is a Dutch football club that was founded on 18 March, 1900. Ajax are well known for their youth academy, which regarded as one of the best youth football schools in the world.
