Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Wednesday’s football game at Estadio Anxo Carro pits together Lugo and Las Palmas, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the 2022/2023 season. Lugo’s main goal is to secure the Segunda Division survival, but their current form is not giving fans a reason for optimism. Hernan Perez’s troops are eager to put an end to their five-game winless run, and they face yet another uphill task against La Union Deportiva. There are no fresh selection worries in the home team, but Christopher Ramos De la Flor is pushing for a start.
Las Palmas, on the other hand, are eyeing promotion to La Liga, and they have yet to suffer a loss in the new La Liga 2 campaign. La Union Deportiva are more of a team than los Albivermellos, and we predict that the visitors will pick up all three points from the midweek clash. Equatorial Guinea defender Saul Coco could play come part in Wednesday’s clash after overcoming his injury.

The stadium was opened in 2003 and it’s current capacity is 32,150. Miguel Angel Ramirez is the club’s chairman and the club’s main rivals are Tenerife.
Las Palmas impressed in the 2015/2016 La liga campaign, with the team finishing the season in 11th place in the standings. However, it has to be noted that los Amarillos finished the 1968/1969 Primera Division campaign in second place in the table, 11 points behind Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Speaking of Copa del Rey, Las Palmas made it to the final of the Spanish Cup in 1978. Las Palmas eliminated Sporting Gijon in the semis (5-3), but Barcelona outplayed los Amarillos in the title game (3-1).
