Prenton Park will host Tuesday’s League Two game between Tranmere and Rochdale, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the remainder of the season. Tranmere are eyeing promotion to League One, while Rochdale’s main goal is to avoid relegation. Following five consecutive league wins, the Super Whites shared the spoils with Harrogate at the weekend, to stay just below the playoffs berth.
Since there are no fresh injury worries in the home team Micky Mellon is unlikely to make changes to the team that faced the Sulphurites at the weekend. The Dale, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 2-1 loss to AFC Wimbledon, which is the main reason why we are going to bet on the promotion-chasing hosts this time out. Both Luke Charman and Tahvon Campbell are rated doubtful for the away side.

Born in Trowbridge, England, on October 30, 1994, Jordan Turnbull is a professional footballer who plays for Northampton Town as a defender. Turnbull is a product of Swindon Town football academy, but in 2007 he was spotted by Southampton scouts.
Despite signing a professional contract with Southampton, he did not see any game action with the Saints at senior level. The English footballer made no fewer than 86 league appearances for Swindon Town during his loan spell with the Robins, and in 2016 he signed a contract with Coventry City.

Speaking of his international career, the Northampton centre-back has two caps with the England U19 team, and one cap with the England U20. Nicknamed the Dale, Rochdale are a professional English club that compete in the League One (English third tier). Rochdale were founded back in 1907, after World War I, with the team beating Accrington Stanley 6-3 in their first league game 14 years later.
The Dale wear blue shirts with black stripes and blue shorts when playing at home, whilst gray is the dominant colour of their away kit. Spotland Stadium is the club’s home ground, with the venue holding no more than 10,249 spectators. Bury and Oldham Athletic are considered the club’s fiercest rivals, but they have built up rivalries with the likes of Halifax Town, Burnley, Stockport County, Wigan Athletic and Accrington Stanley as well.
Back in 1962 Rochdale made it to the Football League Cup final, with the team facing Norwich City in the title game. The Canaries proved to be a big catch for the Dale, but this is still considered the club’s biggest success. It has to be noted that the Spotland Stadium outfit have three Lancashire Cup titles as well (1948/1949, 1970/1971, 2004/2005).
