Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
All eyes will be on RheinEnergieStadion when Koln and Nice square off against each other in the Group D derby. Koln face a must-win situation in the decider, and we are positive that they will fight tooth and nail against les Aiglons. Towering centre-forward Steffen Tigges is pushing for a start, while defender Luca Kilian is back from a domestic ban. All Andersson, Chabot, Hector, Lemperle, Limnios, Ljubicic, Olesen, and Thielmann have been struggling with injuries of late.
Nice, on the other hand, aim to retain top position in Group D, and seeing that Partizan play host to Slovacko, the visitors will go for a win in Thursday’s clash as well. Taking everything into account, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. Jean-Clair Todibo is back from suspension, while all Bulka, Delort, and Diop are likely to miss the game with injuries.
Highlighted Player (Jonas Hector):
Jonas Hector is a product of Koln’s youth school. The left back was born on 27 May, 1990 in Saarbrucken and he began his youth career at SV Auersmacher. Ever since he made his debut for the senior team on 27 August, 2012 he has been playing regularly for the Billy Goats and he certainly helped the team return to Bundesliga at the end of the 2013/2014 campaign.
Jonas Hector made his Germany debut on 14 November, 2014 in a 4-0 win over Gibraltar. The left-footed defender scored his first goal for the German national team on 29 March, 2016 in a 4-1 victory over Italy in Munich.

However, they were beaten by Schalke in their Europa League opener in front of home fans.
