Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Following a 2-0 loss to Atalanta, Empoli will be looking to get back on course in the Serie A when they face Sassuolo on Saturday. The Azzurri have been struggling up front in the 2022/2023 season, with the team netting only nine goals in the process, but this game could be the turning point for the home side. There are no fresh injury concerns in the home team, but defender Koni De Winter remains on the sidelines with a hamstring problem.
The Neroverdi, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-0 defeat to Napoli, with the team dropping to 11th place in the standings. Sassuolo have been struggling on the road of late, which is the main reason why we predict that hosts will emerge triumphant in Saturday’s encounter. It has to be noted that midfielder Armand Lauriente is banned for the away team.
