Vitesse
Ajax will be looking to retain top position in the Eredivisie table when they host Vitesse to their Johan Cruijff Arena in a postponed fixture. The Amsterdammers want to recover from a heart-breaking loss to PSV, and they have no other choice but to go all guns blazing at the Vitas. Talented Italian forward Lorenzo Lucca could sneak into the starting XI after scoring as a substitute in the Eredivisie derby, while Edson Alvarez is banned for the match.
Fellow defender Owen Wijndal has been struggling with an ankle problem. The visitors, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-0 loss to Sparta Rotterdam, and given the importance of Wednesday’s clash for Ajax, we predict that the visitors are going to return home empty-handed. Melle Meulensteen has joined Bartosz Bialek and Kjell Scherpen, while Mitchell Dijks is a major doubt.

Over the years the Dutch footballer born in Amsterdam on October 8, 1997, has established himself as a first-team regular at PSV, earning a call-up for the national team as well. Steven Bergwijn made his Netherlands debut on October 12, 2018 in a 3-0 win over Germany. His main position is left winger, but he is used as both right winger and centre-forward as well.
His preferred foot is right and it has to be noted that his parents are of Suriname descent, he has a dual citizenship. Bergwijn scored 14 goals in 33 appearances for PSV in the 2018/2019 Eredivisie season.

Nicknamed Vitas, the proud of Gelderland, Vitesse are a Dutch football club based in Arnhem. Vitesse compete in the Dutch Eredivisie and they have yet to win the national championship. However, they finished as runners-up in the Dutch elite division on five occasions (1897–98, 1902–03, 1912–13, 1913–14, 1914–15), while clinching third place in the standings in the 1997/1998 season.
