Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Tannadice Park will host Wednesday’s Premiership game between Dundee United and Kilmarnock, the two bottom-table sides. The Terrors are stuck at the bottom with only nine point on their account, and given their three-game losing run, we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the home side. Charlie Mulgrew remains on the sidelines with a thigh problem, while both Tony Watt and Dylan Levitt are pushing for recalls.
The Killie, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to St Johnstone and Livingston. Since both sides are likely to go for a win in the midweek clash, both teams to score betting option should be considered. Kyle Lafferty has yet to serve his ban, while all Ben Chrisene, Calum Waters, and Scott Robinson miss out with injuries for the visiting side. Both Liam Donnelly and Ash Taylor are one yellow card away from suspension.
Highlighted Player (Craig Sibbald):
Craig Sibbald is a Scottish footballer who plays for Livingston as a midfielder. Sibbald started his senior career at Falkirk, and after scoring 30 goals in 214 appearances for the Bairns, he signed a two-year contract with Livingston in the summer of 2018.
Craig Sibbald made his Scotland Premier League debut on September 30, 2018, in a 1-0 loss to Rangers. Four months later, he scored his first goal in the Scottish top flight, finding the net in a 3-1 win over St Mirren. Craig Sibbald has three caps with the Scotland U16 team while making two appearances for the Scotland U17 side. He wears the number 10 shirt at Livingston, and his preferred foot is left.
Sibbald’s main position is attacking midfield, but he is used as a left winger as well. The Scottish footballer has a contract with Livingston until July 1, 2018. In August 2011, he was named the Scottish Football League Young Player of the Month.
Highlighted Team (Kilmarnock):
Founded on January 5, 1869, Kilmarnock are the oldest professional club in Scotland. The Killie welcome their opponents at Rugby Park, the stadium with the artificial turf. The venue, which was opened back in August 1899, can hold up to 17,889 people.
Kilmarnock won their first and only Scotland Premier League trophy in the 1964/65 season despite being level on points with Hearts at the end of the season. Fellow Ayrshire club Ayr United are considered the Killie’s bitterest rivals. The two teams have been facing each other in the Ayrshire derby since September 1910.
Dark blue is the dominant colour of the club’s home kit, while Kilmarnock footballers wear yellow and blues kit when playing on the travels. The Killie recorded their biggest win back in 1896, with the team beating Saltcoats Victoria 13-2 in the second round of the Scottish Qualifying Cup. The club suffered their biggest defeat in August 1938 as they were hammered by Celtic 9-1 in the Scottish League Division.
