Monday’s football game between Valencia and Almeria will bring down the curtain on day 18 of the 2022/2023 La Liga campaign. Los Che failed to win the Spanish Super Cup trophy, but their display in a loss to Real Madrid was anything but poor. Valencia are a real force to be reckoned with at home, and we believe that the time has come for Genaro Gattuso’s troops to get back on course in the national championship.
Marcos Andre has overcome his injury, but Samu Castillejo has joined Domenech and Nico in the recovery room. The visitors, on the other hand, did well to hold Atletico Madrid to a 1-1 draw in front of home fans, but given their poor away record (0-2-6), we predict that Edinson Cavani and Co. are going to emerge triumphant in Monday’s encounter. Almeria boss Rubi should have a full squad to choose from for the Mestalla clash.

Edinson Cavani is a professional footballer who plays for Paris Saint-Germain as a striker. The Uruguayan attacker was born in Salto on 14 February, 1987 and he began his senior career at Danubio. In 2007 he moved to Europe, signing a deal with Serie A outfit Palermo.
After scoring 34 goals in 109 league appearances for the Sicilian outfit, he joined Napoli in 2010. You should have in mind that Cavani scored a brace on his Napoli debut against Elfsborg in the Europa League. The Uruguay forward scored 78 goals in 104 Serie A games for the Partenopei and, as a result, big-spending French club PSG decided to sign him in 2013.
Cavani scored 19 goals for les Parisiens in the 2015/2016 Ligue 1 campaign, but he was in Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s shadow during the season and he started a number of games from the bench. In 2011 the PSG attacker won the Copa America trophy with Uruguay as la Celeste hammered Paraguay 3-0 in the game for the title.

UD Almeria is a Spanish club based in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Los Rojiblancos are one of the newer additions to the Spanish football system, with the club being founded on July 26, 1989.
Almeria suffered relegation to Segunda Division in the 2014/15 season, and they have been competing in the Spanish second tier ever since. Los Rojiblancos are well known for their white shirts with red stripes, while blue is the dominant colour of their away jersey.
