Monday’s football game between Udinese and Verona will bring down the curtain on day 20 of the 2022/2023 Serie A campaign. The Zebrette desperately needed a win against Sampdoria, and they managed to get one, with the team putting an end to their ten-match winless run. Udinese are eager to represent Italy in European competitions next season, and we are positive that they will adopt an attack-minded approach against Verona. Defender Adam Masina misses out with a knee injury, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
The Mastini, on the other hand, have been showing signs of improvement of late, with the team beating both Cremonese and Lecce in front of home fans, but given their poor away record in the Italian top flight, we predict that the hosts are going to emerge triumphant in Monday’s clash. All Thomas Henry, Simone Verdi, and Marco Davide Faraoni should miss out with injuries for the away side.

Daniele Padelli is a professional footballer who played for the likes of Lecco and Como during his youth career. During his spell with Como, he caught the eye of Sampdoria scouts and went on to join the Serie A outfit in 2004. However, he did not see any game action during his spell at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
After spending several seasons on loan at Pizzighettone, Crotone, Liverpool, Pisa, Avellino and Bari he joined Udinese on 31 August, 2011. The Italian goalkeeper signed a loan deal with the Zebrette and he signed a permanent contract with the club on 27 August, 2012. However, it has to be noted that the 193-cm-tall shoot-stopper played no more than nine league games for Udinese between 2011 and 2013.
On 29 May, 2013 he joined Torino on a free transfer and he has been playing for Juve’s local rivals ever since. Padelli made 35 appearances for Torino in the 2015/2016 Serie A campaign and he conceded 50 goals in the process, while keeping six clean sheets.

The “Mastini” are well known for their yellow and blue jerseys and they welcome their opponents at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi. Hellas Verona share rivalry with Chievo Verona and the two local rivals face each other in the “Derby della Scala”.
The first derby of Verona was played on November 18, 2001, with Hellas Verona emerging triumphant (3-2).
