Fleetwood Town welcome Burton Albion to their Highbury Stadium in the League One round 30. The Cod Army suffered yet another dip in form, with the team extending their losing run to three games against Portsmouth, and, no doubt, they are low on spirits ahead of Saturday’s clash. January signing Scott Robertson should keep his place in the starting XI, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
Meanwhile, the Brewers are fighting hard to secure the League One survival, but given their poor away record in the 2022/2023 season, we predict that the hosts are going to pick up all three points from the match. Sam Winnall began his professional career at the age of 19. The striker, who was born on 19 January, 1991, made his Wolverhampton debut in May 2009 and he has been playing for a number of English clubs ever since.
He was on loan at Burton Albion, Hereford United, Inverness CT and Shrewsbury Town and in the 2013/2014 campaign he signed a contract with Scunthorpe United. Sam Winnall scored 23 goals in 45 appearances for the club and, as a result, secured a lucrative move to Barnsley in 2014. He went on to score his first goal for Barnsley on 23 August 2014 in a 4-1 win over Gillingham.
Winnall helped Barnsley eliminate Walsall in the 2015/2016 League One semis as he scored a brace in the first leg. It has to be noted that he scored 23 goals in the English second tier in the 2015/2016 season. He provided 8 assists for his teammates during the season and he finished the campaign as the third highest goalscorer in the league, just behind Nicky Ajose and Will Grigg.
